Liberian Social Security Officials Visit SSNIT

A five-man delegation from the National Social Security and Welfare Corporation (NASSCORP) of Liberia paid a two-day working visit to the Trust from Monday,13thAugust, to Tuesday14th 2018. The NASSCORP delegation were in the country to learn among other things best practices in social security administration and benefits processing.

The NASSCORP delegation were in the country to learn among other things best practices in social security administration and benefits processing.

The delegation which was led by the Deputy Director-General of the NASSCORP, Mr Nyan Twayen, has Head of Legal, Mr Michael Cyril Itoka, Assistant D-G, Public Education and Training, Mr Winston Jah, Assistant D-G Insurance, Mr Leroy Dekah Fleming and Assistant Coordinator Research and Actuarial Mr Robert S Paywala.

The Liberian Executives held discussions with the Director-General of SSNIT, Dr John Ofori-Tenkorang and his executive team. There were also presentations by the Chief Actuary, Mr Stephen Yeboah, on the Social Security Scheme while GM Benefits, Mr Robert Owusu-Sekyere discussed Benefits Processing and its challenges.

The team later visited the Airport City Branch and the Benefits Division at the Pension House to acquaint themselves with the activities of the Branch and other operations of the Trust.
